This practical workshop will draw upon local experiences to explore how we can:
  • live within our fair share of the world's resources and limits;
  • respond to poverty and inequality with radical generosity;
  • live restoratively through sacrificial relationships;
  • use our power to speak prophetically to our churches and wider society in order to cultivate a healthier relationship between God, people and creation.
Just Living is an annual workshop to inspire, enthuse and motivate Christians who are passionate about tackling injustice locally and globally through shared learning, reflection and worship.

Dignity: Taking a stand against gender violence

The challenge for the church and for mission

All of us have met someone who has been a victim of gender based violence. We just may not know it! One in 3 women worldwide has experienced violence. Domestic abuse, whatever the nature of it, is against God’s plan. David McAllister, Laura Gill, Gemma Brown and Tim Magowan will host a coffee shop conversation in the Upstairs Coffee Lounge in Holywood Baptist Church between 7.30 and 9.30. This will be an opportunity for folk unable to make it to the conference and for folks who want to continue a conversation started at the conference. Click here for details of the day conference

Contributors include:
  • Prof. John Barry (QUB
  • Jonny Hanson (Jubilee)
  • David Smyth (Evangelical Alliance)
