Noel works part-time as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the NHS . He is associated with Newry Baptist Church and is also closely involved with Interserve Ireland. He is married to Janneth and is interested in the Irish language and Biblical storytelling.
Stephen Adams (Secretary)
Stephen worked in Health Care management until May 2009. He worships in Ballynahinch Baptist Church and has involvement in several other Christian organisations –both local and global. He is keeping his admin skills refreshed by part time volunteer work in the office. He enjoys hill walking and good mealtime conversations as relaxation.
Caroline Chambers
Caroline currently works as a Solicitor and is an active member of Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church. She joined the Board of ECONI several years after having worked for the organisation as a research assistant. She is married to Mark and they have two children.
Olive Hobson
Coming from a teaching background, Olive has worked in the field of peace–making as an educator and mediator for over 30 years. Her passion for transforming conflict and finding alternative ways of dealing with violence has been strongly influenced by membership of the Society of Friends and through extensive educational and practice experience with Mediation Northern Ireland. Olive is married to David.They have 4 grown up children and a new addition … their first grandchild … little Evie.
Gordon McDade
Gordon is married to Pamela and they have two children, Hannah (14) and Matthew (11). They live in Hillsborough, Co Down. Gordon works for Leading Edge, a business which he set up to provide mentoring, coaching and consultancy to develop leaders in the church, charity, community and business sectors. In addition he is helping to lead Down Community Church, an innovative church plant in county Down and is a teaching pastor with Causeway Coast Vineyard. He also teaches in many different contexts. He serves on the Board of Contemporary Christianity and is involved with Summer Madness, Tear Fund and the charity Life NI. He enjoys reading, movies and good coffee!
Peter McDowell
Peter is currently minister of Garnerville Presbyterian Church. He previously worked as minister of a united Presbyterian and Methodist congregation in Limerick and spent several years working in Nepal. He is married to Åsa and they have two children, Hannah and Daniel.
Trevor Spratt
Trevor is a lecturer in Social Work at Queen's University in Belfast. He joined the board in 2010. He is a member of Gilnahirk Baptist Church, is married to Hilary and has a daughter called Katie.
